Terms of Service
These terms explain the conditions for using Vaidyak's website, patient account, mobile app and provider workspaces. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a hospital or other organisation, you must be authorised to do so.
What Vaidyak provides
Vaidyak helps users organise health records, find care, manage appointments and reminders, communicate within authorised care workflows and view educational or AI-assisted summaries. Provider features may include scheduling, records, billing and other clinic operations. Feature availability may change by account, location and service configuration.
Medical decisions and emergencies
Vaidyak's educational content, automated extraction, meal suggestions and predictions are informational aids. They may be incomplete or wrong and do not establish a diagnosis or replace a qualified clinician's judgement. A provider remains responsible for its clinical decisions and for reviewing information before relying on it. Vaidyak is not an emergency response or continuous monitoring service. For urgent symptoms, seek emergency medical help.
Accounts and authorised access
Give accurate registration information, keep your credentials private and tell us through the Help desk if you suspect unauthorised access. Use only records you are entitled to access. Providers must obtain the permissions and consents required for their patients, staff and organisation. Patients control their own sharing choices where the product offers those controls.
Acceptable use and cyber safety
Do not impersonate another person, upload unlawful or malicious material, probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape private records, or use another person's health information without authority. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to protect users, records or the service, and may investigate or respond to misuse in accordance with applicable law.
Your content and privacy
You retain the rights you have in information you submit. You permit Vaidyak to process it as needed to provide the features you choose, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations. Patient information is handled under our Privacy notice; account and data removal options are described in the Data Deletion Policy. Do not upload information you lack authority to share.
Third-party services and payments
Some optional features use independent services, such as payment processors, mapping, video calls or device connections. Their availability and separate terms may apply. Prices, any trial period and payment terms shown at checkout or in the provider agreement govern a paid service. Do not rely on an unconfirmed booking, payment or message as completed.
Availability, changes and account closure
We work to keep Vaidyak available and secure, but maintenance, networks and third-party services can interrupt access. We may update features or these terms; material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel. Patients may close their account using the process in the Data Deletion Policy. Provider organisations should contact the Help desk for a reviewed handover of staff access and clinical records.
Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer, health, privacy and other mandatory protections. To raise a service, security, privacy or account concern, use the in-app Vaidyak Help desk or email info@myvaidyak.com.
