Patients can permanently close their sign-in and delete patient-controlled information inside Vaidyak.
How to delete your patient account
- Sign in to Vaidyak.
- Open You → Privacy & account.
- Review what is deleted and what must be retained.
- Enter your password, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT, and confirm.

Access closes immediately
All sessions are closed, phones and watches are disconnected, sharing is revoked, and sign-in cannot be restored. The isolated cleanup worker then deletes your profile and photo, uploaded reports and patient-entered results, wearable imports, insurance details, personal guidance, reminders, notifications and portable imports.
Limited records retained
Provider-authored appointment, consultation, prescription and referral records, and security/consent audit history, may need to remain for continuity, safety and legal recordkeeping. They keep a pseudonymous internal identifier after your account identity is removed.
Provider organisations
Provider and organisation accounts need a reviewed handover through the Vaidyak help desk because closure may affect staff access and signed patient records.
